SWM are committed to a programme of investment to meet the needs of its customers’ and the environment and has extended the scope of its total waste management offer to incorporate a new wheeled bin service.

As the leading independent waste management company in the South West, SWM are passionate about their ability to ensure they offer a high quality, reliable service at favourable prices. To support this they have invested in a new REL lorry and recruited experienced waste management professional Jeremy Tolley to work alongside their trained and competent team.

Having previously worked for the Local Authority Jeremy brings with him 17 years of commercial waste management experience and an extensive knowledge of the area and its customer base. This wealth of knowledge has given him a clear understanding of customers’ requirements and leads him to focus on providing a solution to the waste disposal issues he knows they face.

SWM is able to tailor its offer, with a range of wheeled bins spanning 240L, 360L, 660L, 770L, 1100L, plus food waste bins, decicated cardboard collections and Commercial Waste Bags. Additionally SWM can provide a skip hire service for larger volumes. The new service will offer flexibility which will accommodate seasonal fluctuations in demand and is able to handle general waste, cardboard and plastics etc.

SWM have an up to date and fully compliant waste carriers licence and can support customers with Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of work and carry out waste management surveys of customers’ sites and premises.

As well as valuing its customers, SWM puts environmental sustainability at the heart of its offer ensuring that it minimises waste and helps to transform it into a valuable resource wherever possible.

Commenting Jeremy Tolley said “As a responsible waste management company we are committed to putting customers’ needs first without compromising the environmental needs of the future”.

SWM already has its own Waste Transfer Station, where waste is sorted and recyclables removed and their recycle, repair and re-use approach continues to help reduce the impact on Land Fill.
